Bury St Edmunds, schoolboy injured playing sport – Magpas flies to him


At 11.34am on Wednesday morning (10th), Magpas Doctor Drew Welch and Paramedic Dan Read landed in Bury St Edmunds via the Magpas Air Ambulance. The team were called to a schoolboy who had been injured playing sport.

The Magpas team assessed the boy who had suffered minor injuries. The patient was then taken by the EEAST Ambulance Service to West Suffolk Hospital in a stable condition.

The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas Doctor and Paramedic to the scene were: Pilot Matt Tacon and Crew Member Lee Kennedy.
