Burwell woman suffers horse fall – Magpas Helimedix called to her
At 7:36pm yesterday night (16th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived in a rural part of Burwell via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A woman (in her 20’s) had fallen from a horse and suffered a serious arm injury.
The Magpas team worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew at the scene, to administer pain relief and put measures into place to protect the patient’s injury. The woman was then taken to Bury St Edmunds Hospital, in a stable condition, by land ambulance.
All the Emergency Services worked well together.
