Bedfordshire woman thrown from horse near Bedford – Magpas Helimedix fly to her
At 4.40pm on the 22nd April, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Tom Odbert and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in a village near Bedford via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, after a woman (in her 60’s) had been thrown by a horse.
The Magpas team assessed the woman who fortunately only suffered minor injuries. The patient was given permission to leave the scene of the incident and was subsequently helped home by the Emergency Services.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Crawford.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew were also on the scene.
