Bedfordshire, man suffers serious fall – Magpas Helimedix called out to him

At 10:45am this morning, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived in Bedfordshire, south of Kempston, via a Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 60’s) suffered a fall whilst in an outbuilding.

The Helimedix assessed the patient who had endured a head injury. The Magpas team administered an anaesthetic and put measures into place to protect the man’s brain (providing trauma care at the scene). The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance (monitoring him all the way). On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a serious but stable condition.

EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also present.

This is all the information we have.
