Bedford woman goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix called to her

At 9:12pm (13th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross and Paramedic Ryan Warwick ) arrived at a residential address in Bedford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a woman (in her (50’s) went into cardiac arrest.

The Magpas team gave the patient advanced life support and specialist A&E care, whilst working alongside two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews. The Helimedix then accompanied the woman to Bedford Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a critical but stable condition.

All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
