Bedford serious car & tree collision – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 12:08am in the early hours of this morning (18th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in central Bedford, via the Magpas Helimedix Rapid Response BMW – after a car left the road and collided with a tree.

The Magpas team assessed a man (in his 30’s) who suffered leg injuries. This patient was taken to Bedford Hospital (in a stable condition), in a Land Ambulance by an EEAST Ambulance Crew.

Sadly, a second man was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

Anyone with additional information about this incident, please contact Bedfordshire Police on 101. Thank you.
