Bedford, man unconscious – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 12.34pm today (13th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Ali Hieatt and Paramedic Steve Chambers) arrived in Bedford town centre via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance, landing on top of a multi-storey carpark. A man (in his 20’s) had lost consciousness.
The Helimedix assessed the patient, working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew, before he was taken to Bedford Hospital in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Simon Standen.
