Bedford, man unconscious – Magpas called to him
At 3.11pm yesterday (17th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Simon Standen) arrived in Bedford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 50’s) lost consciousness.
The Helimedix assessed the patient and provided enhanced A&E care. The Magpas team worked alongside a Fire and Rescue Service Crew and St John’s Ambulance to remove the man safely from the first floor of the building he was in.
The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Bedford Hospital in a land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew was also present. The Magpas Helimedix would especially like to thank the Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service Crew and the St John’s Ambulance Crew for their great team work.
