Bedford, man suffers fall from height – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 2.42pm today (16th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott, Paramedic Paul Sallis and Paramedic Mark Glover) arrived in the Bedford area via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 60’s) suffered a fall from height.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered injuries to his upper body. The Magpas team provided the man with pain relief, before accompanying him to Bedford Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Simon Amos.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also on the scene.
