Bedford, man falls from ladder – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him
At 3.37pm on Friday (4th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Jo Lambert) arrived in Bedford via the Magpas Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 60’s) had suffered a fall from a ladder.
The Magpas team assessed the patient who had sustained multiple injuries. The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic then provided the man with pain relief, before he was taken to Bedford Hospital, in a stable condition, by an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.
