Bedford, car and pedestrian collision – Magpas Helimedix called to scene

At 10.35pm last night (10th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Tom Odbert and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived in Bedford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The Helimedix assessed a male patient (in his 20’s) who had suffered a serious leg injury. The team sedated the man (providing specialist A&E care at the scene) before accompanying him to Bedford Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.

EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews and the Police were also on the scene.
