A141 Hartford, serious 2x car collision – Magpas Helimedix called to scene

At approximately 5:30pm this evening (21st), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived at the A141 near Hartford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after two cars were involved in a head-on road traffic incident.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Trust Paramedic Crew safely removed a man (in his 40’s) from the car he was in. The Helimedix anaesthetised the patient (providing him with specialist A&E care at the roadside). The Magpas team then accompanied the patient, by land ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital – continuing to give him enhanced critical care all the way there. On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a critical but stable condition.

A second patient (we have no details about this person) was also treated at the scene by an EEAST Ambulance Service Trust Paramedic Crew, before they were taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in a land ambulance.

The Magpas Helimedix team would especially like to thank the EEAST Ambulance Service Trust Paramedic Crews for their exceptional teamwork.

A Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Crew and the Police were also present.

This is all the information we have.
