A14 Huntingdon, car & lorry incident – Magpas Helimedix called out

At 8:27pm last night (16th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Miss Jo Lambert) arrived at the A14 in the Huntingdon area, via the Magpas Helimedix Rapid Response BMW – after a lorry and a car collided.

The Magpas team assessed a woman (in her 50’s), who suffered stomach injuries and breathing difficulties. The Helimedix then administered enhanced pain relief, before accompanying the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the woman was in a stable but serious condition.

EEAST Ambulance Paramedics and Cambridgeshire Police were also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.

This is all the information we have at present.
