A10 nr Stretham, HGV vs tree – Magpas Air Ambulance called to the scene

At 3.50am this morning (30th), Magpas Doctor Drew Welch and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived at the A10 near Stretham, to treat two people injured when the HGV they were travelling in collided with a tree.

The Magpas team assessed a man (in his 40s) and a girl who had both received only minor injuries.

They were then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by EEAST Ambulance Service.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cambridgeshire Police, and the Hazardous Area Response Team were also in attendance.
