A10 near Downham Market, motorcycle vs car – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 1.35pm this afternoon (14th), Magpas Doctor Steve Corry-Bass and Ash Richardson landed by the A10 near Downham Market, via the Magpas Air Ambulance, to treat a motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car.

The Magpas medical team assessed a man (in his 60’s) who had sustained significant leg injuries. They then provided him advanced pain relief (giving him A&E level care) before escorting him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

The man was in a stable condition upon arrival at hospital.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

EEAST Ambulance Service and Norfolk Police were also in attendance.
