A1, two car incident nr Wansford – Magpas Helimedix fly to the scene
At 1:22pm this afternoon, Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Peter Holden and Paramedic Keiran Bromley) landed next to the A1, near the Wansford junction, in the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a road traffic incident involving two cars. One of the vehicles spun off the road, close to where another car had pulled over.
Two women (in their 20’s and 30’s) were assessed. Fortunately neither of the patients suffered any serious injuries and were able to go home.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew, an EEAST Ambulance Officer, three Fire & Rescue Crews and the Police were also present. All the Emergency Services worked well together.
