Peterborough, car slides down embankment into tree – Magpas Air Ambulance called to scene

At 12:16pm this afternoon (20th), Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Ollie Robinson arrived at the A1 end of the Fletton Parkway in Peterborough, via the Magpas Air Ambulance Rapid Response Vehicle. A car had come off the road, slid down a nearby embankment and collided with a tree.

The Magpas medical team provided enhanced assessment for a young man (in his teens) who had sustained a head injury. The patient was then taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance in a stable condition.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Cambridgeshire Police and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
