The 23rd annual Little Downham's Bygones and Organs Extravaganza will take place on 28 March 2015 in aid of Magpas Lifesavers, the charity that provides emergency medical care to those with life threatening injuries.
The event, founded by Trevor and Linda Brown, will take place in Little Downham Village Hall on 28th March from 13:00 – 17:30. Every year this fantastic event attracts people from far and wide, coming together to show off their musical organs and to display treasured collectables.
Trevor Brown said, "There will be lots of organs present, plus bygones, models, vintage cars and tractors. We are hoping that this year will be our most successful yet and we have set ourselves a target of raising £2,000. As always we are very proud to be supporting Magpas. Their lifesavers do a wonderful job and deserve the support of everyone across the region, and we will keep organising this event for as long as we can."
Debbie Florence, Head of Fundraising, said, "Mr and Mrs Brown and all their fellow organisers are such dedicated Magpas supporters, they work so hard every year leading up to and on the day of the event. Bygones and Organs have raised an amazing amount for Magpas over the years and we can't thank everyone enough for their continued support and we wish them a successful day."
This year will see Bygones and Organs Extravaganza's biggest ever raffle, with prizes kindly being donated by both the people and businesses within the community. Entry fee is £2.50 for adults and £2.00 for children and senior citizens. Refreshments will be available.
