At 4pm this evening (9th September), Magpas Helimedix (Senior Doctor Simon Lewis and Paramedic Ryan Warwick) arrived at a residential address in Wisbech, via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance. An EEAST Ambulance Crew requested them to attend, after a man (in his 50’s) collapsed, struggled to regain full consciousness and was disorientated.
The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient at the scene and then accompanied him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn, in a Land Ambulance, for further investigation. On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a serious but stable condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas team to the scene was: Pilot Matt Tacon and Air Observer Steve Hunwicks
