Regulation

Magpas Helimedix save lives and reduce suffering in the most challenging of circumstances. Achieving compliance with the Care Quality Commission’s standards for quality and safety isn’t just bureaucracy – it’s about being able to ensure that patients and our NHS partners can be confident that the treatment we provide is delivered by properly trained and supervised staff, is as safe as it can be, is based on the most up to date medical practices and is constantly quality assured.

We take these responsibilities very seriously and we are proud to have been the first independent sector pre-hospital critical care and retrieval service in the UK to embrace this level of scrutiny and regulation.

Care Quality CommissionMagpas first became registered as an independent medical agency with the then Health Care Commission in January 2007 and has successfully remained registered since. Magpas is registered for two medical services, firstly as an Ambulance Service, secondly as a Mobile Doctor Service. Magpas’ Care Quality Commission registration covers all of our activities across the East of England.

Mr Daryl Brown is the Care Quality Commission registered manager for Magpas, if you have a question regarding the regulation of Magpas, please email daryl@magpas.org.uk
