Magpas Helimedix – Saving lives… Anyone, anywhere, anytime!

 

Magpas Helimedix is located at RAF Wyton, in Huntingdonshire. Due to this key location and our unique partnership with Cambridgeshire Police we offer Pre-Hospital Critical Care to anywhere within the East of England. Predominately we respond to serious incidents in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Attending over 2,600 patients in 2009!

From our operating base at RAF Wyton Magpas

Helimedix teams are able to attend medical emergencies on two transport platforms including  Rapid Response Vehicles and  Helicopter.

Debbie Florence Magpas’ Helimedix spokeswoman says “It is essential that expert medical care from Magpas’ Helimedix team is on hand to make sure the patients received the right treatment at the scene and are then transferred to the right hospital for the type of injuries sustained.”

Magpas’ Helimedix with Cambridgeshire Constabulary operates the only Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved night time helicopter service with Doctors anywhere in the UK.

The aim of Magpas Helimedix is to provide the country’s first CAA approved 24/7 Emergency Medical service, delivering Doctors on Helicopters, to any serious incident within the East of England, we have the capability but require the funding to support this, so if you can please donate now
