Magpas supporter Elliot Hard from http://cambridge.biglocalapp.com/ is getting ready to do his first Magpas Skydive on Saturday 13th July!
On his Just Giving page, Elliot says: 'Magpas rely completely on charity funding, without it it they would simply not exist. With the amazing work they do and the amount of lives they save day and night, Magpas not existing is not an option'. Thank you so much Elliot, good luck for your tandem jump! Brave Claire Blackham is jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft in July for Magpas Lifesavers! You can support Claire on her Just Giving page by clicking here. Good luck and thank you Claire, we hope you get a lot of enjoyment from your first jump! We wonder if this will be the first of many?!
Team member Vicky says: 'On the 26th of July, Mark, myself and a group of our friends will be completing a 40 mile cycle ride in Peterborough, this route will be around the outskirts of the Green Wheel and all sponsors raised will go to Magpas. Magpas is not government funded and relies solely on fundraisers and donations to provide the service they do. They played a key role in Joes medical treatment who we sadly lost in January 2013. This organisation are called out to many emergency situations every month, so its important that we keep them in the air. Please help us by sponsoring a few quid to the cause, our goal as a team is to exceed the money we raised last year (£1600.00) and I'm sure with your support we can. Much love, Vicki, Mark and Team xx' Such wonderful support from this amazing team. Please support them if you can by clicking here, thank you!
Sam Garner says: 'A couple of years ago a friend of mine was involved in a car accident and without their help he wouldn't be alive today. So with doing this 10k I thought why not try n raise a bit of money for the hard work these people put in, not just in their efforts to save Jason's life but for what they do day in day out!' What a great way to support your Lifesavers! You can support Sam on his Just Giving web page by clicking here. Thank you Sam and thank you Sam's supporters!
