Magpas’ lifesaving work simply could not happen without your support. Our
charity receives
no government funding and is therefore solely reliant on
donations and fundraising by local businesses and the public.
If you think that you can help personally, or you know of a business or organisation who could support us,
please contact us or use the links on the left to navigate to each section which explains the various methods
you can use to assist us. Thank you.
Our secure on-line donation system is provided by WorldPay. Once you have completed this form you will be passed to their secure system to provide credit or debit card details.

Good Luck!!
Some people very kindly choose to leave a gift to Magpas in their Will.
This means they have helped save lives across the region for years to come. Making a donation to a charity in this way can also benefit your loved ones as these bequests reduce the liability for payment of Inheritance Tax or can help avoid the burden completely.
Your solicitor will require our registered charity number, which is 1119279. We recommend that you consult a solicitor to ensure that your wishes will be respected and that your loved ones are remembered.

Gift Aid offers a simple way to increase the value of a gift of money from a UK taxpayer to Magpas by allowing the charity to reclaim basic rate tax already paid on the donation from HM Revenue & Customs.
How Gift Aid works
For every pound donated to charity using Gift Aid the charity can claim an additional 28 pence from the Government. Gift Aid can apply to one-off donations or to a series of regular donations.
Gift Aid declarations
In order for a donation to qualify under Gift Aid the donor needs to make a declaration saying that they would like to donate through the Gift Aid scheme and confirming that they have paid enough tax to cover the charity’s claim.
A Gift Aid declaration can apply to:
- a single donation
- all future donations to the same charity
- donations made to the charity in the previous six years or
- a combination of these options.
The charity will ask which type of declaration the donor wants to make.
