It’s nearly time for the Road Run!

poster213th July sees the return of the incredibly fun Road Run, in aid of Magpas.  The plan is to leave Burwash Manor, Barton promptly at 9.45am — Comberton 10.00 — Hardwick 10.45 —Bourn 11.15— Kingston 11.45— Eversden 11.50 — Orwell 12.15 — Barrington (lunch) 13.00— 14.00 - Haslingfield 14.15 returning to Burwash Manor, Barton for 15.30.

There will be entertainment and refreshments all day at Burwash Manor, Barton where you can also see the vintage cars and classic car exhibits on display!

It's here, there and everywhere for your fundraising team this weekend!

It's all go this weekend for your Magpas Fundraising team. We're attending four different events this weekend, so if you're passing please do pop over and say hi to us, it would be lovely to see you!

Sat 14th June - Our Fundraising Assistant Ivor and lovely volunteer Jenny, will have a stand at the St Neots Volunteering Fun Day at Regatta Meadow from 11am to 3pm. Should be a wonderful fun day with activities for all. In the meantime, fundraiser extraordinaire Ann will be at Wickham Market Primary School with a stand at their festival from 1pm until 4pm.

Sunday 15th June - Fundraising Volunteer Jenny is up bright and early and this time going to the Hunts 10k Run. She won't be stretching her legs at this one but will have a stand in the Spectators Village from 8.15am until noon. From 1pm Fundraising Manager Debbie and Head of Communications Antonia, are off to Fulbourn Cricket Ground, near Cambridge for a cricket match in aid of Magpas! Organised by massive supporter Tony Peachey, this annual event is very popular. Why not take a picnic blanket, kick off your shoes, sit back and relax.......what better way to spend a sunny summer afternoon?

Dig out your finest leather trousers - the Motorcycle Festival is on its way to St Ives on 29th June!

St Ives Festival of Motorcycles is coming! 29th June will see the first of hopefully many SIFOM events in St Ives. The day will be filled with motorcycles of all shapes, sizes and models, bouncy castle, trade stands, face painting (come on adults, you know you've always wanted to be painted like spiderman or a butterfly!) and much more! Magpas will be there with a stand, please come along and support us from 10am until 4pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Amazing opportunity to run or cycle on a route previously unavailable to the public in this event

The Ely Hereward Rotary Club is organising a fantastic charity cycle ride or run, on behalf of Magpas and other local charities on 21st September. this event will take part in the Ouse Washes and uses an off-road track for part of the event. Man alive, it's doctor's orders for kelly's eye on this Magpas Bingo night!

It's all legs and ducks on this bingo night being held in aid of Magpas on Thursday 12th June at Emneth Central Hall (Emneth, Wisbech).  Doors open at 6.30pm, Eyes Down at 7.15pm.  There will also be a draw, tombola and refreshments. Hopefully it won't be unlucky for some. Clickety click, droopy drawers anyone?

Emma is looking forward to meeting up with the guys from Ortongate Shopping Centre on Friday 30th May. These wonderful shops at the centre participated in Orange Day on 23rd May and laid on a family fun day on 24th May. Emma is excited to see how well they got on. The rotten weather didn't dampen their spirits!
